Handcrafted in Middlewich
We build each of our boats ourselves, from the sheets of metal and wood up, to ensure that you will experience a boat which is unique, well designed, and expertly built for the canals.
Standard on every boat:
- Shower and fresh water flush toilet
- Refrigerator and domestic cooker
- Radiator central heating
- Stereo radio with CD
- 12v socket for mobile phone charging
- 240v socket (via inverter)
Provided at no extra charge:
- All fuel and gas included
- Secure car parking at our base
- LCD TV with Freeview and DVD player
- High-quality duvets, pillows, and bedding
- Hair dryer on board
- Cot sides and child gates (on request)
- Buoyancy aids for all crew members
Choose Your Style
Whether you are looking for a romantic 2-berth getaway or a spacious 8-berth vessel for the whole family, our fleet features two distinct rear deck styles (sterns) to suit your preference:
Semi-Traditional Stern
Designed to look like a traditional working boat from the outside, but featuring a safe, enclosed seating area at the back. This is incredibly popular with families, as it allows the crew to safely sit outside and keep the skipper company while cruising.
Cruiser Stern
Featuring a large, open rear deck surrounded by a safety rail. This style offers maximum outdoor space at the back of the boat, making it fantastic for socialising, enjoying sunny days, and providing easy access on and off the vessel.
The Star Rating
All of our boats are independently assessed and awarded a star classification under the official British Marine / VisitEngland Quality Accredited Boatyard (QAB) scheme.

One, Two & Three Star - (Not offered by Andersen Boats)
Basic minimum standards to more spacious boats with minimum centre head room and domestic cookers.
FOUR STAR (Our Fleet Standard)
As three star, plus a maximum of 2 persons sleeping in any cabin, minimum of two fixed berths, continental quilt bedding, and fabric upholstery. Engine/gas heated stored hot water system. Toilet, shower, and wash basin enclosed in a dedicated bathroom. Fresh water flush toilet and Colour TV included.
